At Cross Creek, our mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for both our horses and riders. We believe that building strong bonds between horse and rider is key to achieving success in the saddle. Our goal is to provide a safe place for your horse to call home and to instill a love and appreciation for horses in all of our students and boarders.
With over 40 years of experience, our on-site owner will oversee all aspects of caring for your horse. Horses are fed high-quality grain twice a day based on your horse's needs. Supplements can be added if you provide.
Stalled horses are turned out daily. We also offer pasture-only boarding if you don't wish to keep your horse in a stall.
Additional features available to all boarders:
30+ acres of pasture for your horse
60 acre property with on-site trails
Secure tack room
Wash bay with hot water
Rest room
Round pen
Small outdoor arena
We are passionate about sharing our love of horses and helping our boarders achieve their goals. We believe in creating a supportive and positive environment for all horses and riders.
Our barn manager, Nathan, also offers lessons for young to old riders of any skill or experience level. Using either our reliable, safe lesson horses or your own horse, he will work with you to achieve your personal goals and experience a more fulfilling relationship with your horse.
Horse lessons typically involve instruction on riding skills, horsemanship, grooming, and care for horses. Using natural horsemanship methods are vital for both horse and rider to build a strong bond, improve skills, and ensure the well-being of the horse.
Sometimes, it's your horse that needs some training. We can help with that too. Nathan can skillfully provide colt starting or can help you and your horse overcome a specific problem or behavior.
If you have questions about Cross Creek, feel free to call or send us a message. We look forward to hearing from you soon!
